siftWAVES usesno backwash or crossflow, it filters high solids water, uses 10% of the energy and delivers 99.9% water recovery to significantly lower CapEx and OpEx at your facility.
The difference to this revolutionary, one-pass filtration process that automatically concentrates and purges solids from waste streams – is that it provides both high solids filtration and valuable waste management and dewatering benefits, in one column.

The Function of siftWAVES
With less than 15 components and only one moving part, siftWAVES offers a high-performance, low maintenance solution for primary, pre-filtration and post-filtration applications, with exceptional efficiency.
siftWAVESoperates by 3 simple steps:
Let's take a closer look at these 3 steps...
Advantages, Benefits & Performance of siftWAVES
Most automatic self-cleaning filters can’t handle high solids loading, nor oil and grease, making them insufficient for many industrial applications. Many of the traditional solutions: bags, cartridges and media filters, result in equipment redundancy, large footprints, expensive human resources and problematic production residual/waste. On the other side of the spectrum, high-end equipment like centrifuges and filter presses are large capital investments and often require costly chemical conditioning for optimum performance.
The Automatic Self Cleaning Filter was designed to function on high, variable suspended solids loading, from numerous industrial sectors. The patented automatic filtration technology allows one-pass, low micron filtration — requiring no backwash or cross-flow — the high and variable solids are automatically concentrated and purged in the process, providing easy solids recovery and a valuable de-watering solution.
Some of the main benefits of the Automatic Self Cleaning Filter are as follows:
Reduces TSS and BOD
Concentrates Solids
No Backwash / No Crossflow
No Pressure Drop
No Biofouling Issues
10 to 100 Micron Filtration
Filters High TSS (+ 15,000 mg/L - 25,000 mg/L)
Stainless Steel construction allows for use in both process and waste streams
Increased Yield / More Product in Beverage Process streams
Lowered waste water Discharge Fees in Waste Streams
Concentrated Solids (Purge) Stream from Brewery Process Water
Market Sectors & Applications of the Automatic Self Cleaning Filter
The automatic Self Cleaning has many uses and applications. As it is used as a low energy, efficient and robust filter that allows minimal maintenance, its position on any water treatment network can have long lasting economical and environmental impacts. To date, the Automatic Self Cleaning Filter has been used in the follow areas and applications:
Industrial Processing and Wastewater
Food & Beverage - Breweries, wineries, fruit juice production
Pharmaceuticals & Chemical Production
Power Generation & Hydro Power
Stormwater & Surface Water Filtration
Oil & Gas Applications
Desalination (pretreatment)
Marine and Ballast Water
Mining & Metal Processing
Pretreatment for MF/UF/RO
Dewatering applications
WW Treatment Plant Equipment Protection
From a comparison standpoint, the Automatic Self Cleaning Filter is a substantial leap forward in terms of the value of the filter, version convention means of solids/liquid separation and dewatering.

HOMES Water Inc. distributes, provides installation, services, as well as operates and conducts pilot and demonstration trials. There are 3 main system variations that are available. The Automatic Self Cleaning Filters are fully module and easily expandable. The skids are designed to incorporate powder coated carbon steel frames, integral manifold piping and valves. The connections for inlet, outlet, and purge piping are metallic and can accept threaded or flanged associated piping connections. All components in the skid are integral, including air venting and automated purge valves.
Please contact HOMESWater Inc. for additional technical specifications, system pricing or to set up your pilot/demonstration trial at your facility.
