Summary
HOMES Water Inc. is currently seeking a propagation, service & engineering (PS&E) agent for our existing and prospective Clients of our real-time, water quality monitoring solutions platform, iWAVES (www.iwaves.io). The position is intended for someone with a technical background preferably in water treatment, industrial hygiene/utilities, chemistry and/or biology sectors. This role is 100% client service focused that puts the needs of our clients first and foremost. We are looking for an energetic, creative, innovative and outside-of-the-box thinker, that can see the big picture and help navigate our current and future clients to becoming sustainability champions, while reaping the economical benefits of smart water & energy management.
Description of Role
Identify, install and service our real-time water quality monitoring & solutions platform ‘iWAVES’ for existing and prospective industrial and commercial Clients;
Develop and create digital water/energy monitoring strategies & platforms to be used with software for process optimizations, data extraction and remote, real-time monitoring to provide cost savings through smarter use of water, energy and consumables (process chemicals);
Liaise with equipment, instrumentation, hardware/software manufacturers and other suppliers to develop and execute custom engineered (process) solutions;
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for Clients, remotely or on-site at their facilities;
Propagate - increase opportunities by developing relationships directly with Clients and end users
The primary focus of this position is on our real-time, water quality monitoring & solutions platform, iWAVES, but the role also expands to identifying and installing our complete portfolio of services & solutions:

Required Qualifications & Skills
University Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in an engineering field, preferably environmental, industrial, process, biological, chemical, electrical, mechatronics etc.;
Commissioning experience in water & effluent treatment plants an asset;
Knowledge of industrial water treatment systems, automation/control, programming, PLC’s, HMI, SCADA software and communications networking;
Exposure to utilities & energy conservation practices;
‘Data miner’ – be able to make data into presentable formats and look for clues/trends in various processes;
Communication & Language skills – fluency in English – French/Spanish/other – would be a bonus;
Good technical writing and oral communication skills;
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office tools;
